With a park expansion completed in 2010, this park encompasses 24 acres and is located adjacent to AG Cox Middle School. It is comprised of 3 youth baseball fields, a large adult softball field, amphitheatre, 1 mile of walking trails, playground, 2 concession stands, roofed and lighted batting cages, 1 large pavilion and public restrooms. Additional amenities include picnic table, park benches, water fountains and a wooded area.

The park serves as the home of Winterville Baseball a Cal Ripken League for ages 7-12 years old. The park also serves as a frequent host for local, state and regional baseball tournaments. Other programs held in the park include flag and tackle football, movies and concerts in the park, adult softball, Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Parade and the official site of the Winterville Watermelon Festival!
